Chapter 1

Chapter 1: The Red Ball

The morning sun painted the meadow in golden light. Butterflies danced above the daisies. Bees hummed their busy songs.

In the middle of all this beauty, a small brown puppy named Biscuit was having the best day ever.

Biscuit loved to explore. Every day brought new smells, new sounds, and new things to discover. Today, something special caught his eye.

There, sitting in a patch of clover, was a bright red ball.

Biscuit's tail began to wag so fast it was just a blur. He bounded over to the ball and sniffed it carefully. It smelled like rubber and sunshine and adventure.

"My ball!" Biscuit barked happily. He picked it up in his mouth and held it tight. The ball was smooth and round and absolutely perfect.

Biscuit pranced around the meadow with his treasure. He tossed it in the air and caught it. He rolled it with his nose. He even tried to hide it under his paw, just to find it again.

"This is the best ball in the whole wide world," Biscuit said to himself. "And it's all mine!"
